Firebase Setup Guide (Free)
Step 1 — Create a free Firebase project
Go to console.firebase.google.com → Click Add project → Give it a name → Disable Google Analytics (optional) → Create project.

Step 2 — Add a Web App
Inside your project → Click the </> (Web) icon → Register app with any nickname → Copy the firebaseConfig object shown.

Step 3 — Enable Firestore Database
Left sidebar → Build → Firestore Database → Create database → Choose Start in test mode → Pick any region → Enable.

Step 4 — Paste config here
Come back to this app → paste the config JSON → enter a teacher ID → click Connect.

Firebase free tier (Spark plan) gives you 1 GB storage, 50k reads/day, 20k writes/day — more than enough for a school. No credit card needed.

Step 5 — Access from anywhere
Host this HTML file on Netlify Drop (free, just drag & drop the file) or open it on any computer — your data is always synced via Firebase.
